Coupable? is a photo project that was realised exclusively in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. It explores the complex relationship between humans and the urban pigeon. When did this bird take up residence in the heart of our cities? And how did this amazing relationship come about? The urban pigeon can be found all over the world, but it is often invisible to our eyes. Our human and social perception of this animal determines our interaction with it. Often reduced to the stereotype of the "flying rat", seen as dirty and uninteresting, the urban pigeon has been my source of inspiration over the last two years. My portraits show their individuality, the richness of their shapes and colours and invite us to rethink our perception of this animal. Because when an animal is no longer of any use to humans, it becomes unwanted.

Luisa Maria Stagno (*1990) is a Colombian photographer living in Luxembourg who explores the animal in all its facets. Animals have been her main source of inspiration since childhood. She constantly questions the place of animals in the human world and their relationship with humans. Her unique style combines animal portraits with a documentary approach in which she examines the construction of the concept and perception of the animal in society.
